Mr.Parasaran P.A for M/S.VAT Legal COMMON ORDER These civil revision petitions are filed seeking direction to the learned IV Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of the appeals in A.S.Nos.35 and 36 of 2024, within a time frame, fixed by this court.

2. It is seen from the adjudication papers filed in the typed set of papers that service of notice in the above said appeals was completed long back and the appeals have been adjourned from time to time on the ground of pendency of the interlocutory applications.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that I.A.Nos.4 and 5 of 2024 in A.S.No.35 of 2024 and I.A.Nos.2 and 3 of 2024 in A.S.No.36 of 2024 were filed by the appellant as well as respondent to raise additional documents and the same are pending.

3. It is settled law that the petition to raise additional evidence shall be taken up for consideration along with the appeal. Taking into consideration 2/4

the appeals were filed in the year 2024 and service of notice on the respondent was already completed, this court is inclined to direct the first appellate court to dispose of A.S.No.35 and 36 of 2024, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

5. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
