ORDER
The petitioner herein, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 28.04.2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 120(B), 148, 302 and 201 of IPC, in Crime No.910 of 2018, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that he is involved in a murder case. Earlier, the petitioner was arrested and subsequently released on bail. However, the petitioner jumped bail on 27.02.2024, pursuant to which a NBW was issued and executed on 28.04.2025. Thereafter, the petitioner is in judicial custody.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was arrested due to his ailment and he is in judicial custody since 28.04.2025. He further submitted that he is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that though there are 7 accused in this case and the petitioner is ranked as A5. He further submitted that the case has been split up against some of the accused and that the remaining cases are pending in S.C. No.32 of 2021 on the file of the Sessions Court for Trial of Bomb Blast Cases, Coimbatore. He further submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender, earlier, a NBW was issued andsubsequently recalled. He further submitted that the petitioner is having 35 previous cases pending against him. Hence, if the petitioner is released on bail, there is likelihood that he may abscond and therefore, he strongly opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. 2/4
5. This Court called for a report from the concerned Trial Court, and the report was submitted on 12.12.2025. The report reveals that the petitioner was not regular in appearing before the Trial Court and that he continuously jumped bail, pursuant to which he was remanded to judicial custody. It is further revealed that the trial has not progressed in the case.
6. Considering the above facts and the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and the fact that the petitioner has 35 previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
