O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4, to take appropriate action based on the representation dated 22.11.2025, given by the petitioner in accordance with law.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's mother is the absolute owner of the property situated at Sivaraj 3rd Street, Puzhal, Chennai - 600 066, comprised in Survey No.647/3, admeasuring approximately 13,000 sq.ft. along with house. The petitioner's mother had decided to sell the property to one Thamizhselvan and also executed a sale agreement with him by receiving advance amount. Further, the petitioner's mother had asked the said Thamizhselvan to level the land by filling with soil for measuring purpose. On 16.11.2025, Thamizhselvan started leveling and cleaning work in the said property. At that time, the respondents 5 to 10, trespassed into the property, created ruckus, abused him in filthy language and threatened with dire consequence and also damaged the compound wall. Immediately, Thamizhselvan gave a complaint to the 4th respondent. However, they refused to receive the complaint. Subsequently, on 22.11.2025, the petitioner sent a complaint to the respondents 1 to 4 by 2/5
registered post. However, no enquiry has been conducted so far. Hence, the present petition is filed.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted. The petitioner claims that the subject property belongs to him, whereas a counter complaint has been received from the Thirumoolaswamy Thirukoil contending that the subject property belongs to the temple. Since there were rival claims in respect of the subject property, appropriate action has been taken by the respondent police by forwarding the complaint to the Revenue Divisional Officer for the purpose of conducting enquiry with regard to the classification of the land and to find out the owner of the property. He also submitted that the enquiry is pending and the same would be completed in due course.
4. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
5. It is made clear that the enquiry shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 12.12.2025 ksa-2 3/5
