2. We have heard Mr.S.Raja Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the petitioner/State and have perused judgment dated 19.12.2024 in respect of which leave is sought.
3. The State has assailed the judgment on various grounds, including on the basis that there have been eye witnesses to the murder, despite which, the learned Judge has proceeded to pass the impugned order acquitting the respondents.
4. Since a prima facie case has been made out, we are of the view that this is a matter where leave is liable to be granted.
5. Accordingly, we grant leave. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order, call for records and send notices to the respondents.
