The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the First Information Report pursuant to the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri in Crl.M.P.No.3014 of 2024 dated 18.10.2024. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri in Crl.M.P.No.3014 of 2024 dated 18.10.2024 was sent to an incorrect address. However, a subsequent representation dated 20.11.2025 sent by the petitioner to the first respondent was received and the case was thereafter marked to the Inspector of Police, CCB, Avadi. He further submitted that even before this Court, the petitioner had furnished an incorrect address. However, based on the representation dated 20.11.
2025, an enquiry has been conducted in C.No.146157/ PGI(3)/APC/2025. He further submitted that the delay was only on account of the incorrect address furnished by the petitioner. He also submitted that the enquiry would be conducted within a period of four weeks and the report will be filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. The first respondent shall ensure that the enquiry in C.No.146157/PGI(3)/APC/2025 is completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and that the report is filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri, in accordance with law.
