ORDER

Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. By consent of both parties, this writ petition has been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to consider the representation of the petitioner for issuance of legal heir certificate.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that though the petitioner has given a representation dated 25.08.2025 for issuance of the legal heir certificate, no

action is forthcoming. Hence, seeks for a direction.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions submitted that as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.478, Revenue & Disaster Management, Revenue Administration Wing, RA-3(2) Section dated 29.09.2022, if the petitioner apply for legal heir certificate through online, the same will be considered and appropriate order(s) will be passed.

5. Such view of the matter, let the petitioner make an online application afresh as stipulated in the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.478, Revenue & Disaster Management, Revenue Administration Wing, RA-3(2) Section dated 29.09.2022 within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such application being filed, let the respondent consider the application of the petitioner and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law immediately thereafter.
