ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to survey and effect sub division of patta in favour of the petitioner for the

lands, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the online applications dated 04.03.2025 and 24.06.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner seeks for survey and demarcation of the lands, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition and also seeks for sub division patta in his name. The petitioner had submitted online applications dated 04.03.2025 and 24.06.2025 for the said purpose. Since the same have not been considered, this writ petition has been filed.

3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's online applications, as stated supra, are considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the neighbouring land owners and to any other third party whom the respondents deem fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and once the survey and demarcation of boundaries are done and if the petitioner is found to be eligible for a sub division patta in his favour, the same can also be made by the respondents as prayed for in the petitioner's online applications dated 04.03.2025 and 24.06.2025.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's online applications. 6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's online applications dated 04.03.2025 and 24.06.2025 seeking for survey and demarcation of the boundaries and if the said applications are in order, the respondents shall survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the neighbouring land owners and also to any other third party whom the respondents deem fit to enquire and after hearing their objections if any within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Once the petitioner is found eligible to obtain a sub division patta as prayed for in his online applications dated 04.03.2025 and 24.06.2025, the respondents shall also issue the same in favour of the petitioner.
