ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the proceedings of the District Collector, Chengalpet, was placed before this Court. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner had raised serious objections on the order passed by the District Collector on the ground that the said order goes beyond the order passed by the TNRERA.

In the considered view of this Court, considering the limited scope of the contempt petition, it will not be possible for this Court to go into the merits of the order passed by the District Collector dated 21.01.2026. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the District collector, it is left open to the petitioner to question the said order in the manner known to law. 4.
