ORDER

This Writ Petition (Crl.) has been filed seeking a direction to the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2025 in Crime No.581/2025 under Sec.194 of B.N.S.S., to permit the petitioner to reopen the showroom premises.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a mobile shop owner and one Dharshini, who is working in the shop of the petitioner committed suicide inside the washroom of the petitioner's showroom on 21.09.2025. Hence, the 4th respondent police had registered the case in Crime No.581 of 2025 on the same day. For the purpose of investigation, the 4th respondent police had closed the showroom and taken the key and they are not permitting her to open the showroom. Therefore, the petitioner had sent a representation dated 06.11.2025 to the respondents seeking permission to open her showroom. Since it has not been considered by the respondents, she had filed the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that though the 4th respondent police had registered a case in respect of suicide committed by the employee of the petitioner, the investigation has been completed. He would further submit that the 4th __________Page 2 of 4

respondent police has not taken the key of the premises and they have not locked the premises. He would also submit that they have no objection in the petitioner running her showroom. In the said circumstances, the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2025 cannot be considered.

4. Taking into consideration the fact that the respondents have no objection in the petitioner opening her showroom and run the business, no further order is required in this Writ Petition.

5. In view of the above, this Writ Petition (Crl.) stands disposed of. No costs.
