Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents particularly the 2nd and 3rd Respondents to survey and demarcate the petitioners Property comprised in Survey Nos.481(2) to an extent of 0-1.03 Hectares/Ares Melsevur East Gingee Taluk Villupuram Districtbyconsidering the petitioners application vide application No.2025/N123/07/008128 dated 10.10.2025.

For Petitioner : Mr.G.Mohammed Aseef For Respondents 1 to 3 : Mr.C.Jayaprakash Government Advocate Order This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on the Application dated 10.10.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner had submitted an Application dated 10.10.2025 seeking for survey and demarcation of the property morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition. Since the said representations has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Since no adverse orders are passed against respondents 4 and 5, notice to them in this Writ Petition is dispensed with. 2/4
4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the aforesaid Application of the petitioner is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom, the second respondent deems fit to enquire. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, whom, the deems fit to enquire.
b) After receiving objections, if any, and after considering the same, the second respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully descried in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
No Costs.
