This criminal original petition has been filed to modify the interim bail conditions passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge in Crl.M.P.No.10456 of 2025 dated 05.11.2025 and subsequent modification made thereon in Crl.M.P.No.11229 of 2025 dated 19.11.2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, the petitioner herein was granted interim bail by the Principal Sessions Judge, vide order dated 05.11.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.10456 of 2025 for the offence under Section 318(4), 316(2) of BNS in Crime No.575 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police with one of the conditions that, the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- before the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Chennai in Crime No.575 of 2025 and directed the petitioner to surrender before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai on 14.11.2025 at 05:30 P.M.; that subsequently, the petitioner had filed modification petitions to modify the aforesaid conditions before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai; that the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, vide order dated 19.11.2025 in Crl.M.P.

No.11229 of 2025 directed the petitioner to surrender before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai on 04.12.2025 at 05:30 P.M.; that the petitioner herein is willing to amicably settle the dispute with the defacto complainant and prays to modify the interim bail condition in Crl.M.P.No.10456 of 2025 and further modification made in Crl.M.P.No.

of 2025 as prayed for.

Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

On perusal of the record, it reveals that the petitioner herein has been granted interim bail by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, vide order dated 05.11.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.10456 of 2025, subsequently the interim bail conditions were also modified twice based on the modifications petitions filed by the petitioner by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai and further the petitioner has been directed to surrender before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai on 04.12.2025 at 05:30 p.m., vide order dated 19.1.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.11229 of 2025.

Considering the above facts and taking note of the fact that the petitioner has been granted only interim bail by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai and no final order has been passed yet, this Court finds no merit in this modification petition and the petition is liable to be dismissed. petitioner is at liberty to approach the Sessions Court concerned for appropriate relief.
