ORDER
The present Arbitration Original Petition filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 to appoint a sole arbitrator, preferably a retired Judge of this Honourable Court to adjudicate the disputes that have arisen between the Petitioner and the Respondent, arising out of the Content License Agreement dated 11.09.2024.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsels appearing on either side would submit in unison that the parties have amicably resolved their disputes and reached an understanding and the respondent had paid a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- towards the full and final settlement of the claims to the applicant. They had entered into a Joint Memo of Compromise and the same is placed before this Court.
3. Recording the said Joint Memo of Compromise, the petition stands disposed of on the said terms as being settled out of the Court. The said Joint Memo of Compromise shall form part of this judgment. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, no further adjudication is required to be made in the suit and accordingly the suit stands disposed of as settled out of
Court. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Arb.Appln.1094 of 2025 is also closed.
