ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to rectify the mistake in UDR entry of the 'A' register maintained by the

department of survey and settlement of lands, Tamil Nadu for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Since the aforementioned representation of the petitioner has not been considered by the first respondent, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 2 and 3, notice to the respondents 2 and 3 is dispensed with. 4.Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent.

5.No prejudice would be caused to the first respondent if the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2025, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the respondents 2 and 3 as well as any other third party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

7.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2025 seeking for rectification of the mistake in UDR entry of the 'A' register maintained by the department of survey and settlement of lands, Tamil Nadu for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the respondents 2 and 3 as well as any other third party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
