ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner and his brother one P. Lakshmikanthan for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. There exists joint pattas bearing Nos.431 and 271, which are enclosed as documents along with this writ petition. The petitioner, by virtue of a settlement deed dated 13.06.2008, claims that he and his brother one P. Lakshmikanthan are entitled for separate patta from the existing patta Nos.431 and 271.

3. The petitioner has submitted a representation on 18.10.2025 with the third respondent, seeking for separate patta. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4. Mr R.P Murugan Raja, learned Govt. Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's online application, seeking for issuance of separate patta is considered on merits

and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of any third party if any within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2025 seeking for issuance of separate patta in his name and in the name of his brother for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners and any other third party whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire.
