This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to reclassify the lands morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition.

2. According to the petitioner, the subject land has been wrongly classified as Government land. The petitioner claims that the subject land has been enjoyed by the petitioner's father Late P.M.K.S.Ranganathan and his grandfather Sarangapani. Therefore, wrong classification made in the subject lands has to be rectified. The petitioner has given a representation dated 25.08.2025 to the respondents seeking for change of classification. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the representation dated 25.08.2025 of the petitioner is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2025 seeking for change __________Page 2 of 4

of classification of the land, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expression any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner. No Costs. 10-12-2025 RKM To 1.The District Collector, Collectorate, Kallakurichi.
