This petition is filed to condone the delay of 221 days in filing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the appellant. He prays this Court to dispense with the issuance of notice to the 1st respondent and also made an endorsement to that effect. The same is recorded and notice to the 1st respondent is dispensed with.

3. Mr. J. Chandran, learned counsel who takes notice for the 2nd respondent did not raise any objection in allowing this petition. This court is satisfied with the reasons attributed in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, this petition is ordered.

3. The Registry is directed to number C.M.A.Sr. No.198647 of 2025, if it is otherwise in order, and list the same in the usual course.

4. It is made clear that the petitioners will not be entitled for any interest for the default period, if in the event of this Court enhancing the amount of compensation fixed by the Tribunal.
