COMMON ORDER The present Writ Petitions (Criminal) have been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 30.06.2025.
Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, these Writ petitions (Criminal) are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Notice to the third respondent is dispensed with, inasmuch as no order prejudicial to her interest is passed. 4.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that since the petitioners were cheated by one Pradha/third respondent and one Prabakaran in a share market investment scam, they had given a complaint to the second respondent in this regard. However, since there was no progress, the petitioners sent representations dated 30.06.2025 to the first respondent. As no action was taken on the said representations, the present petitions have been filed.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioners are victims of a share market investment scam and that based on the complaint given by one Bhuvaneshwari, who is also one of the victims in the said scam, a case in Crime No.24 of 2025 came to be registered by the second respondent for the offences under Section 318(4) of the BNS and Sections 3 and 4 of the Prize Chit and Money CIR. Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978. He further submitted that the investigation in the said case has been completed, the final report has been filed and the same has been taken cognizance of by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Virudhachalam, in C.C.No.1041 of 2025. He also submitted that the representations given by the petitioners have been considered and that the petitioners have been cited as witnesses LW12 and LW13.

Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, these Writ Petitions (Criminal) stand closed. No costs 15.12.2025 ham 3/5
