ORDER
The petitioners, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 303(2) of BNS r/w. 21(1) of TNMMDR Act in Crime No. 170 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioners are alleged to have transported stone boulders illegally from Andhra Pradesh without valid license. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioners are ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent reported that the petitioners were involved in transportation of stone boulders without any transit pass. He further submitted that there are no previous cases pending against the petitioners. However, she opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
5. Considering the nature of offence committed by the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
