ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 329(4), 74, 79, 118(2), 133, 351(3) of BNSS 2023 and Section 4 of TNPWH Act in connection with the Cr. No.96 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to matrimonial dispute, the petitioner who is the husband of the defacto complainant went to her house and severely attacked her with hands and legs and caused severe injuries. Hence, this case.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is innocent person, and he has been falsely implicated by the respondent police and he is no way connected with the offences as alleged by the prosecution and hence he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that earlier this Court had earlier dismissed the petitioner's anticipatory bail application, considering the gravity of the offence and the specific over tact levelled against the petitioner. The petitioner has now filed this second anticipatory bail, however, she contends that there has been no change in circumstances, therefore, she strongly opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Since, there is no change in circumstances, I am not inclined grant the relief sought for the by petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
