O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 351(3) of 1/4

BNS read with Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998 in Crime No.178 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, due to previous enmity, petitioner attacked the defacto complainant with hammer, due to which, defacto complainant sustained serious injuries.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, in the alleged incident, defacto complainant sustained grievous injuries. He further submitted that, petitioner has 6 previous cases.

5. Considering the nature of injuries and the fact that the petitioner has got six previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
