ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to issue No Objection Certificate (NoC) in favour of the petitioner to deal with the subject lands morefully disclosed in his representation dated 05.02.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that earlier, the lands in question were the subject matter of the land acquisition proceedings. But, however, the Hon'ble Supreme Court, in its final order, had directed the respondent to either drop the land acquisition proceedings or pay compensation. According to the petitioner, till date, despite the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, no decision has been taken by the respondent. The petitioner had given a representation dated 05.02.2025 to the respondent seeking for NoC for the subject lands. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.V.Gunasekar, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondent, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ

petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2025 seeking for issuance of NoC for the subject lands, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs.
