ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Mandamus to direct the 4th respondent to cancel the patta issued in the name of the respondents 5 and 6 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.10.2025 and to issue patta in favour of the petitioner as per the final decree passed in I.A.No.7 of 2022 in O.S.No.94 of 2012, vide order, dated 29.01.2025 on the file of the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvallur, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2. The petitioner's grievance is that patta has been illegally issued in favour of the respondents 5 and 6 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition and she seeks cancellation of the said patta. She has given representation dated 11.10.2025 for the said purpose. Since the said representation has not been considered by the official respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse order is being passed against the respondents 5 and 6, notice to the respondents 5 and 6 is dispensed with.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 and 6 or any other third party, whom the 4th respondent deems fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation. Page No.3 of 6
5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 4th respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 11.10.2025, seeking for cancellation of patta issued in the name of the respondents 5 and 6 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 and 6 or any other third party, whom the 4th respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
