O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "Directing the 4th respondent to consider the representation dated 27.01.2025 regarding the cancellation of the property with survey Nos. 67/8, 67/9, 67/10, 67/11, 67/12 in the settlement deed Doc. no 4408/ 2023 dated 26.09.2023, executed in favour of the 5th and 6th respondents."

2. The brief facts are as follows:- 2.1. The petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 68 years. She is the absolute owner of the properties comprised in S.Nos.67/8, 67/9, 67/10, 67/11 and 67/12 situate at Palaniapuri Village, Pethanaickenpalayam Taluk, Salem District. The main grievance of the petitioner is that respondents 5 and 6, who are the daughters of the petitioner, by misrepresenting the facts, induced the petitioner to execute a settlement deed dated 26.09.2023 in respect of the above2/5

said properties in their favour. Therefore, the petitioner had sent a representation dated 27.01.2025 to the 4th respondent seeking cancellation of the settlement deed dated 26.09.2023. However, the said representation has not been disposed of to date. Hence, the Writ Petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.

Considering the limited request of the petitioner and also taking into account the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2025 has not been disposed of to date, this Writ Petition is allowed. The 4th respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 27.01.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the interested parties, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
