The petitioner seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's land in Survey No.15/1B1A1A to the extent of 600 sq.ft. in Flat No.4 Part bearing Patta No.4519 situated at Mathur Village, Kavithendral Kalyana Sundaram Nagar, Madhavaram Taluk, Chennai District, on the basis of the petitioner's application dated 26.08.2025 and consider the same without further delay within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the subject property in the year 2024. After purchase of the property, the petitioner applied for electricity connection to the 2nd respondent through online on 26.08.2025 along with necessary documents. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

3.Mr.D.Gopal, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the 1st respondent. Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the 2nd respondent and would submit that the 2nd respondent will consider the application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a week. 3.In such view of the matter, let the respondents consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 26.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and as per Rules, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
