ORDER

The petitioner seeks consideration of representation dated 26.08.2025 and initiation of action under Section 83 of the Registration Act, 1908. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his father Palaniyandi Pillai and his brother Rajendran executed general power of attorney dated 12.08.1993 bearing Document No.243 of 1993 in favour of one Sivaprakasa Pillai. Upon the death of the petitioner's father on 19.01.2004, he submits that the contract of agency came to an end. Without verifying these aspects, he states that sale deed dated 06.10.2008 was executed by the agent in favour of the second respondent. Therefore, after submitting the above mentioned representation, he submits that the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for the first respondent. He submits that the registering officer does not have the power of cancellation. He also points out that the petitioner is complaining about the sale deed registered on 06.10.2008.

3. As pointed out by learned Special Government Pleader, the grievance of the petitioner relates to a sale deed registered on 06.10.2008. The petitioner has approached this Court in November 2025 without providing any explanation for the inordinate delay in complaining of the allegedly unlawful registration. In these circumstances, I am not inclined to exercise discretionary jurisdiction in
