Thomas .. Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to de-seal the petitioner's property situated at Plot No.8, New Door No.2, Lambert Nagar, 1st Cross Street, Virugambakkam, Chennai 600 092 for a period of six months enabling the petitioner to demolish and restore the building as per the Approved Plan vide P.P.A.No.PPA/WDCN10/ 8956/2013 dated 07.04.2014.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if some reasonable time is granted to the petitioner, she will remove the deviated construction, so as to bring the building in conformity with the building permission, which was initially granted to her.
2. Learned counsel for the Corporation would submit that though the petitioner's prayer for extension was rejected by the revenue
authorities, if this Court permits the petitioner to remove the deviated construction/portion within a stipulated period, the Corporation would have no objection to the same.
3. Having considered the submission of learned counsel for the parties, it is directed that the building shall be de-sealed and within a period of two months from the date of de-sealing, the petitioner shall remove the deviated portion/construction. Immediately thereafter, the Corporation shall inspect the building and if the deviation is found to be removed, then no further action would be required. However, in case the deviation has not been removed, the building shall be immediately re-sealed.
