Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey and fix the boundary stones of the petitioner's property for the land in Villupuram R.D. Villupuram No.2 Joint Sub.D. at Poonthottam S.No. 84/3A1A1-Southern 0.27 cents out of 1.08 cents Boundaries. To the South West and North of land of Kalivaratha Udayar, To the East of Land of Muthal Udayar based on her application for the survey and fixing the boundaries vide Challan No. 2025/0123/07/006676 dated 10.03.2025 and pass.

Order This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by her, based on her Application dated 10.03.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted an Application dated 10.03.2025 seeking for survey and demarcation of the property morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition. Since the said Application has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the aforesaid Application 10.03.2025 of the petitioner is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom, the first respondent deem fit 2/4

to enquire.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, whom, they deem fit to enquire.

b) After receiving objections, if any, and after considering the same, the first respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully descried in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

No Costs.
