ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction the 2nd Respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2021.

2. By consent this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. Mr.Madhusudanan, learned Standing counsel takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. According to the petitioner, he purchased 4 cents of land in Survey No.265/2 situated in Bommikuppam Village, Tirupattur District along with a pathway going through Survey No.266/3 and 265/2. Thereafter the said land was subdivided into Survey No.265/2A. While so, the patta for the said land has been jointly been issued in Patta No.8544 along with his neighbours. Taking advantage of the same, the adjacent land owner / the third respondent has illegally got the Electricity Connection No.421 in his favour, which was already allotted to the petitioner. Hence the petitioner made a representation dated 08.11.2021 to the respondents 1 and 2, to cancel the said electricity connection registered in favour of the third respondent. However, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, this petition.

Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner and the fact that the representation is pending for more than 4 years, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner 08.11.2021 after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as

the interested parties and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
