O R D E R

The present Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary action on the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2025.

Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Notice to respondents 3 to 5 is dispensed with inasmuch as no order prejudicial to their interests is passed. 4.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent Police, without conducting a proper enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2025, had closed the same. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner against respondents 3 to 5 alleging commission of forgery, an enquiry was conducted in No. TN/HOMEEXC/ 2/4

CHN/I/EMAIL/31oct25/166892532025/31/10. During enquiry, it was found that the dispute between the parties was civil in nature and that civil suits were already pending between them. Therefore, the complaint was closed and the parties were directed to approach the appropriate civil forum for redressal of their grievances.

Having heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides and upon perusal of the materials available on record, this Court finds that the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2025 has been duly considered by the jurisdictional police.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands closed. No costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report in the manner known to law.
