The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.11.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 120(B), 420, 368, 371 of IPC, Section 24 read with Section 10 Immigration Act in Crime No.01 of 2024, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/5

The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner is ranked as A8 in this case and this is the case involving trafficking of human on the pretext of getting foreign job at call center at Cambodia and after taking the victims to the Cambodia, they were forced to involve in cyber crime activities. A1 and A2 are the persons acted as agents for sending the persons to Cambodia. There are are 91 victims in this case and they had paid Rs.1.9 crores and some of them are still languishing in the hands of the persons. Based on the look out circular, petitioner was detained in Airport. On further investigation revealed that, petitioner alone had received a sum of Rs.43 lakhs from the 27 victims. Hence, the case.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner was acted only as an agent and he was under the belief that, after collecting the money, the victims were properly availed jobs and he was not aware of the scam done by the other accused. He further submitted that co-accused were granted bail by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the eptitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that so far an amount of Rs.5 Crores has been 2/5

transacted from petitioner's account. He further submitted that petitioner is also main accused in this case. Further, the investigation revealed that, 27 victims has paid a sum of Rs.43 lakhs to the petitioner.

5. Considering the modus operandi behind the scam and the magnitude of the amount involved in this case and the fact that the investigation in this case is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 15.12.2025 sma 3/5
