This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 16.09.2025 requesting for restoration of patta in the name of the petitioners' grandmother Palaniammal, for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioners, the patta which was earlier standing in the name of their grandmother Palaniammal for the subject property has been cancelled illegally, and therefore, the same has to be restored back once again in favour of their grandmother Palaniammal. The petitioners had given a representation on 16.09.2025 to the respondents with supporting documents. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the fourth respondent if the petitioners' representation dated 16.09.2025 is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the fourth respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioners' representation dated 16.09.2025 seeking for restoration of patta in their grandmother's name/Palaniammal for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing objections from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom the fourth respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid representation of the petitioners. No Costs.
