O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 26.10.2025 and 06.11.2025, by conducting an effective enquiry and give adequate police protection to conduct the weekly prayer meetings of the Society of St.Vincent de Paul, situated at No.18A, St. Peters Church, Royapuram.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the representation of the petitioner dated 27.10.2025, enquiry was conducted by the 3rd respondent police in C.S.R. No.414 of 2025 and after enquiry, finding that the dispute is civil in nature, the same was closed.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the closure report has not been served on the petitioner.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent police to serve the closure report on the petitioner forthwith and on receipt of the same, the petitioner is at liberty to proceed in accordance with law.
