ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to forbear the 1st respondent from opening the tender documents in respect of No.32/2025-2026/SDO dated 20.11.2025 in respect of the work of construction of high level bridge at km. 10/2 of Shoolagiri - Uddanapali road in lieu of existing causeway.

2. It is the contention of the petitioner is that he is a registered Class I contractor registered with Highways department under Regn.No.12/2009, dated 17.04.2023, which has been renewed upto 31.03.2026. The petitioner had carried out various construction and improvement works under respondents Highways for several years. While so, the 1st respondent invited tenders in Tender Notice No.32/2025-2026/SDO dated 20.11.2025 calling for tenders for several works including the construction of high level bridge at km 10/2 of Shoolagiri-Uddanapalli road in lieu of existing causeway. As per clause 9 of the tender conditions specifically provide that "The Work Site Inspection Certificate" obtained from the 2nd respondent has to be uploaded, otherwise, the tender will be rejected. Though the petitioner inspected the work site, the certificate has not been issued. Hence, he seeks a direction.

3. The learned Addl. Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has filed application on 03.12.2025 for issuance of Work Site Inspection Certificate. The Work Site Inspection Certificate will be issued after inspection of the site of the petitioner. Since the last date for issuance of the __________Page 2 of 4

certificate is on 16.12.2025, it is his contention that the certificate will be issued on or before 16.12.2025.

3. Heard Mrs.A.L.Ganthimathi, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, learned Addl. Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2. Perused the materials available on record.

4. His submissions is recorded. In view of the prayer sought in the Writ Petition, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to issue a certificate on or before 15.12.2025.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
