ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking modification of the anticipatory bail condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No. 18908 of 2018, dated 21.08.2018, wherein this Court imposed the condition directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- into the credit of Crime No.12 of 2018 without prejudice to her defence.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court, while granting bail to the co-accused in similar cases, has not imposed condition of depositing money. However, in respect of this petitioner only, this Court imposed a condition of depositing Rs.5,00,000/- to the credit of Crime No.12 of 2018. He further submitted that the petitioner is being a lady and taking care of her mother, and she is ready to participate in the trial proceedings and he prayed to modify the condition imposed by this Court against the petitioner. 3.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent police reported that the respondent police filed a final report and taken on file in C.C.No. 114 of 2021 and it is pending for summons on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvarur.

4.I have gone through the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No. 3059 of 2020, dated 26.02.2021, wherein two other accused were granted bail. However, they have not been directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.3059 of 2020, dated 26.02.2021. Further, after several years, this petition has been filed for modification of the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.18908 of 2018, dated 21.08.2018. Though the conditions imposed were not complied with by the petitioner herein, the respondent police has not chosen to file any petition for cancellation of 2/4

anticipatory bail till date.

5.In view of the above reasons, this Court is inclined only to extend the period of two weeks time to the petitioner herein to comply with the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.18908 of 2018. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of. 02.02.2026 MSM To 1.The Inspector of Police District Crime Branch Thiruvarur District Cr.No. 12 of 2018 2.The Public Prosecutor, High Court, Madras.
