Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents herein to properly evaluate the Petitioner OMR Sheet (Roll No 25PG1416060248) and award marks based on the final key answers which according to the petitioner is 101 marks and consequently select and appoint the petitioner to the post of Physical Education Gr.I.

O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus for directing the Respondents herein to properly evaluate the Petitioner OMR Sheet (Roll No 25PG1416060248) and award marks based on the final key answers which according to the petitioner is 101 marks and consequently select and appoint the petitioner to the post of Physical Education Gr.I. 2.Heard the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the second respondent. 3.The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, who had completed Master of Physical Education, had applied for the post Physical Director Grade - I under the Notification No. 02/2025 dated 10.07.2025 issued by the 2nd respondent. The Petitioner had participated in the written examination with book let series 'D' and he was provided with copy of the OMR sheet marked by him. When the results were published, the petitioner 2/5

was awarded 81 marks. However, the petitioner was anticipating 101 marks as per the final key answer published by the 2nd respondent. Aggrieved by the same, this Writ Petition is filed.

4.The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the 2nd respondent submits that the OMR sheet of the petitioner was properly evaluated and appropriate marks were awarded to him.

5.This Court during the last occasion has directed the respondents to produce the OMR sheet of the petitioner. In compliance, the respondents have produced the OMR sheet of the petitioner. A perusal of the same, makes it clear that the petitioner was awarded only 81 marks. Therefore, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. 6.With the liberty given above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
