The petitioner was arrested on 11.08.2025, on execution of NonBailable Warrant issued by the learned IV Additional District Judge, Tikruvallur at Ponneri, for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 302 r/w 34 of IPC pending trial in S.C.No.548 of 2024, seeks bail. The earlier bail application of the petitioner was dismissed by this Court, vide order dated 24.11.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.30305 of 2025. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that originally the petitioner was earlier arrested and released on bail and was regularly appearing before the Trial Court for the case in S.C.No.548 of 2024; that due to his ill health, the petitioner could not able to appear before the Trial Court on 29.01.2025, hence a NBW was issued as against the petitioner and subsequently, the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 11.08.2025; and that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that there are totally 24 witnesses and the case is posted for examination of L.W.1 to L.W.4. He further submitted that the trial 2/4

is progressing; and that the petitioner has 8 previous cases. 4.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has bad antecedents, and taking into account that this is the second bail petition filed by the petitioner without any change in circumstances after dismissal of the earlier bail petition in Crl.O.P.No.30305 of 2025, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
