ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2025, seeking to appoint him on compassionate as senior legal heir of the deceased M.Raju.
2. Mr.David Sundar Singh, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents herein.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that his father was employed as a Senior Grade Helper in Chennai Electricity Distribution Circle / North Enoore / SS Functioning under the respondents and he died in harness on 10.10.1990. It is the further case of the petitioner that, earlier he filed a Writ Petition before this Court in W.P.No.14995 of 2017, challenging the order of the second respondent herein rejecting the claim of the petitioner to appoint him on compassionate grounds. Pending the said Writ Petition, the petitioner made a representation dated 05.11.2025, requesting the third respondent herein not to pass any orders in favour of the aggrieved parties. However, the said representation has not been considered till date and therefore, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
4. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's representation within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioners, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and any other interested parties.
7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
