O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.,) Notice issued by the Commissioner, Narasignapuram Municipality under Section 128 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act in proceedings dated 07.11.2025 is under challenge in the present Writ proceedings.

2. The petitioner has to submit explanation in response to the notice. No Writ against the show cause notice is entertainable. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to submit his explanation along with documents, if any, to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. On receipt of any such explanation, the Commissioner, Narasingapuram Municipality shall consider the same and thereafter take a final decision to proceed with the enforcement action to remove the encroachments from the Municipality properties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of the explanation.

4. With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
