This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to conduct proper investigation and file final report in Cr.No.94 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that it is a case relating to missing of a person. A case in Cr.No.94 of 2025 has been registered under the caption 'Man-Missing'. The respondents are taking steps to find out the whereabouts of the petitioner's husband. He further submitted that they are getting on with the investigation.

3. Considering the above, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Villupuram is directed to monitor the investigation and periodic report to the petitioner shall be given as per Section 193(3)(ii) of the BNSS.

4. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands disposed of. 16.12.2025 mrn 2/4
