ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records of the proceedings in Crime No.141 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police and to quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that though the present petition is filed seeking quashment of the F.I.R., it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four

(4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
