ORDER

The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.11.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1) ( c) r/w 4(1-A)(ii) of TNP Act in Crime No.511 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 40 bottles of liquor. Hence, this case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the

petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner. 4.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case. He further submitted that the petitioner is habitual offender and there are 19 previous cases pending against him. 5.Considering the facts of the case and the bad antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
