ORDER

Since the District Revenue Officer, Melmalaiyanur Taluk, Villupuram District, who is the competent authority for correction of FMB sketch, has not been arrayed as a party respondent in this writ petition, the District Revenue Officer, Melmalaiyanur Taluk, Villupuram District is suo motu impleaded by this Court as a party third respondent in this writ petition. 2.Registry is directed to carry out the amendment accordingly. 3.This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the official respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2025 seeking for correction of FMB sketch for the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. 4.The patta for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, presently stands in the name of the second respondent.

Since the petitioner seeks for correction of FMB sketch for the very same property, necessarily, the second respondent will have to be heard by the official respondents before any final orders are passed on the petitioner's representation, as stated supra.

5.Since no adverse order is passed against the second respondent, notice to the second respondent is dispensed with.

6.No prejudice would be caused to the official respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the second respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 7.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

8.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the newly impleaded third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2025, after hearing the objections of the second respondent and any other third party whom the newly impleaded third respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
