ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to review the petitioner's uploaded documents and include the petitioner's name in the provisional selection list for the post of Salesperson in Fair Price Shop by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2025.

It is the case of the petitioner that pursuant to the notification dated 09.10.2024 issued by the 3rd respondent for appointment to the post of Sales Person in the Fair Price Shop, the petitioner applied for the said post on 06.11.2024. Thereafter, the petitioner was called for interview. However, when the provisional selection list was published, the petitioner's name was not included therein. Aggrieved by the non-inclusion of his name, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 03.10.2025 seeking inclusion in the provisional selection list. However, no orders were passed on the said representation. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition. 2/5

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2025 to include his name in the provisional selection list for the appointment to the post of Salesperson in Fair Price Shop, within the stipulated time frame.

Per contra, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 submitted that the provisional list of selected candidates has already been published and without challenging the selection process for appointment to the post of Sales Person in the Fair Price Shop, the petitioner has filed this writ petition, which is non-est in law. Further, he has produced a copy of the proceedings issued by the 3rd respondent dated 15.12.2025 in support of his contention. In the light of the above, suitable directions may be issued.
5. As rightly pointed by the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner has to challenge the selection process for appointment to the post of Sales Person in the Fair Price Shop. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to issue any positive directions. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the selection process for appointment to the post of Sales Person in the Fair Price Shop in the manner known to law. 3/5
6. Granting the aforesaid liberty, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
