ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking for a direction to the second and third respondents to conclude the enquiry in Na. Ka. No.2984/2022/A6 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had given a representation, seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the fifth respondent. Pursuant to the same, the second and third respondents have commenced enquiry proceedings in Na. Ka. No.2984/2022/A6. However, according to the petitioner, till date, no final orders have been passed on the petitioner's representation.

3. Mr. R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the fifth respondent, notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law and final orders are passed thereafter by the second and third respondents within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2022, which culminated in the enquiry proceedings viz., Na. Ka. No.2984/2022/A6 and to conclude the said enquiry proceedings viz., Na. Ka. No.2984/2022/A6 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the objections of the fifth respondent as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems fit to enquire.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
