O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4 (1)(A) and 4(1)© of Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2024 in Crime No.278 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of liquor bottles - 8 Nos ( each containing 180 ml). Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that, apart from this case, petitioner has 46 previous cases. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of this petitioner.

5. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
