ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 4 to mutate the patta transfer entries and also the sub division effected pertaining to the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. He also claims that the patta has already been issued in his favour for the said property. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, the respondents 1 and 4 have failed to mutate the patta transfer entries and also the sub division effected pertaining to the subject property in the appropriate register maintained by the Tiruvarur municipality. In view of the same, the petitioner has given a representation on 13.
09.2025 seeking for mutation of patta transfer entries and also for sub division effected pertaining to the subject property in the appropriate register maintained by the Tiruvarur municipality and to issue certified copies of the same. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3.Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation. 6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents 1 and 4 to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 13.09.2025 seeking to mutate the patta transfer entries and also the sub division effected pertaining to the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition in the appropriate register maintained by the Tiruvarur municipality and to issue certified copies of the same, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
