Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2025 by either re-conveying the petitioner's aforesaid land Comprised in S.No.8/1 of Nolambur Village, or to pay a fair compensation in respect of the petitioner's aforesaid acquired land.

O R D E R
This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2025 by either reconveying the petitioner's aforesaid land Comprised in 2/6
S.No.8/1 of Nolambur Village, or to pay a fair compensation in respect of the petitioner's aforesaid acquired land."
2. The petitioner's mother had purchased a land measuring an extent of 9 cents in S.No.8/1, situate at Nolambur Village, Tiruvallur District, by way of a registered Sale Deed. The petitioner's mother, Kannammal had executed a registered Will bequeathing the aforesaid property in favour of the petitioner.
3. The petitioner would submit that the aforesaid land along with other lands were acquired by the 1st respondent for development of Ambattur Neighborhood Scheme by issuing a Section 4 notification and thereafter a declaration was made on 30.12.1978 and subsequently an award was passed on 30.09.1985. However, the petitioner's mother was not paid compensation so far.
4. Subsequently, the petitioner's mother died and thereafter the petitioner continued the legal proceedings and he had also filed several 3/6
writ petitions for re-conveyance of the aforesaid lands acquired by the respondents and had made several representations to the respondents requesting them, both, for re-conveyance and also to issue a fair compensation in respect of the aforesaid lands acquired by the respondents. However, no steps have been take on the side of the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2025 has not been considered till date, the respondents are directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation within a period of 1 month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is allowed. No costs.
