ORDER
Intending to partition an immovable property between the petitioner and members of his family, a partition deed was executed and presented for registration on 03.10.2025. The petitioner asserts 1/3
that the registering officer returned the document to the petitioner without issuing refusal check slip. Hence, this writ petition.
2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for the sole respondent and submits that the document would be either registered or refused by a speaking order within one week from the date of re-presentation.
3. By taking note of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to re-present the partition deed for registration. Within one week from the date of such representation, the registering officer shall either register the instrument or issue a speaking order if such registration were to be declined.
