Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus (a) To call for the records pertaining to the final electoral list published by the 1st respondent on 30.11.2025 for conducting the election to the 2nd respondent society scheduled on 20.12.2025, quash the same insofar as it excludes the petitioners name and includes persons who do not form part of the duly authenticated list of life members of the Chennai district Branch (b) to consequently direct the 1st respondent to publish a fresh and proper electoral roll strictly based on the authenticated list of 839 life members forwarded by the District secretary of the 2nd Respondent on 07.07.2025, including the petitioners name therein, (c) to further direct the 1st respondent to permit the petitioner to file his nomination and to participate in the election to the 2nd Respondent society as a valid life member. COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) In these writ petitions, the challenge is principally to the voter's list and inclusion of certain voters, in respect of Chennai Division of the Red Cross Society.

2. Pursuant to the orders of this Court, election was conducted and results have also been declared on 20.12.2025.

3. In view of the aforesaid, at this stage, the relief prayed for cannot be granted. However, it would be open for the petitioners to challenge the election results, in accordance with law, if so advised.

4. With this observations, the writ petitions stand disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP Nos.53957, 53154, 53024, 53022 of 2025 are closed.
