ORDER
The petitioner asserts title over 49 cents on the basis of a settlement deed. According to the petitioner, there is a dispute with one Mr.Munirajappa with regard to 4 cents from and out of 49 cents. The petitioner relies on the statement made by the rival claimant on 18.08.2025 to the effect that he has no objection to the payment of compensation to the petitioner as regards 45 cents.
2. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. Mr.Su.Srinivasan, learned counsel, accepts notice for the third respondent.

On the basis of written instructions, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that there are a total of 17 claimants under Patta No.1105 and that a sum of Rs.51,04,768/- has been deposited before the Principal District Court, Krishnagiri in terms of Section 3H of the National Highways Act, 1956. Therefore, he submits that it is open to the petitioner to file an application and claim compensation in the said proceedings.

4. The petitioner has filed a document under which the rival claimants have indicated their no objection to the payment of compensation to the petitioner as regards 45 cents from and out of 49 cents. Therefore, it is open to the petitioner to rely on the said document and make a claim in respect of compensation for the undisputed extent before the Principal District Court, Krishnagiri. With these observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. Any such request shall be dealt with as expeditiously as the business of the Court would permit.
